0

Auckland, Monday, 14 May, 2018 - Attendees at the CIO Summit in Auckland are in for a rare opportunity as Sharp Corporation of New Zealand announced that they would showcase the first 8K LED commercial screen in the country at the event.

8K is a revolutionary technology for ultra-high-definition (UHD) images with 16 times the resolution of full-HD. It reproduces visuals in almost perfect reality, with detail so accurate that it tricks the naked eye.

Sharp is poised to bring consumers the thrill of this revolutionary technology globally, and its New Zealand subsidiary is intent on getting Kiwis access as soon as possible. Although an official release date has not been confirmed yet, attendees of the CIO Summit will have the chance to get up-close and personal with the much-anticipated product and experience the stunning quality of 8K technology.

Known for the development of cutting edge technology, Sharp Japan is complementing its 8K screens and award winning 8K broadcasting cameras with development of other 8K products, leading the world by establishing an 8K ‘ecosystem’.
